I know, I know! I haven't posted a blog in a million years :/ but what better time to post than now, right? Better now than never :D Ok, let's move on from my shortcomings...

Oops! Where have I been?!

Lol omg I have failed miserably at this blog thing.. I haven't posted in like TWO WEEKS! It's ok though, right? Eh, wrong! Haha and YouTube? Man I've slacked so bad... Im coming back though. I've got a million videos just sitting on my camera waiting to be edited and uploaded. So stay tuned I guess? Ugh, school starts next week. But I'll do my best to multitask :) love y'all!

My Ia (aunt), cousins, sister, and I went out to eat at Bravo's today <3 It was sooooo delish! I ordered a salad with ranch which I had to send back cause there was paramasean cheese on it which i hate soooo much! haha but it's cool cause I got a new salad that was cheese-less <3 and for my entree I had a big ole' plate of spaghetti and meatballs (typical, eh?) Jeez, they served me a lot..I couldn't eat the whole thing lol, but that didn't stop me from getting the most delicious dessert i've EVER had! A veryyyy warm and moist chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on top of it and surrounded by some sauce thing... idk what it was, but O-M-G! I could dieee! I wish I would have had more room to fit it all in my stomach lol :/ btw, the lemonade was to die for! so sweet and lemony at the same time :)

Anyways, I totally just went on a whole food rant when this post is supposed to be about what I got today :) So we went to a little boutique called Tattle Tales and I got this....

Then we went to the mall and we hit up Dillard's where we tried on some fun head pieces ;)

Then I went to Victoria's Secret.. they were having a semi-annual sale and I think I picked up the short end of the stick cause the sale started a few days ago and they didn't really have much left, but I did pick up something cute :)

It's a bra.. no need to see the whole thing. You know what a bra looks like! lol but you get to see the pattern :)

Then me and the girls went to our favorite store, Forever 21 :D

That's all for my shopping adventure :) I was sooo pooped at the end of the day... We were running around the city for a good 7 hrs and guess what! The whole entire time I was wearing my Steve Madden Annnie's.. how's that for a workout?! :D haha.. but i stillllll had enough energy to go get some delicious beignets with Kevin to celebrate us making a year and 3 months yesterday <3

mmm! Jelly? ;) haha

It felt so nice to have a day off and just enjoy my life.. I love days like this <3 ugh, I wish everyday was a day off! don't you?

Life is too short..

I was going to film today, but then I learned that someone I went to elementary school with died this morning. I was never entirely close to him and his family. We barely spoke but we were friends on Facebook and I'd comment on their pictures and such. He just got married and just had a baby only a couple of months ago. He was just beginning his life with his long time love...and suddenly, it ended.

The tragic accident really upset me, but it made me start to think. Life is so precious and fragile. It's incredibly short too. In a moments time, a life can be over, and just as a life ends another life begins. It's the circle of life. It's sad, but I'm not making this post to depress y'all.

I guess the reason in writing this is as we begin this new year remember to cherish every moment that you have with your loved ones. Laugh a little harder and love a little stronger. Be kind to those who have hurt you. If you are spiritual, pray more. It helps you feel better. Remember that everyday is a blessing and remember that blessings should be cherished.

I hope y'all take advantage of all that life has to offer you. It's your life, live it up and conquer your dreams!

WEE! My very first blog :)

So, when I first signed up for this thing I was so lost! I'm just glad that I finally figured it out :D
